He there emphasised once again on the importance of Christianity for his country and strongly criticised the Polish movie <strong>&#8220;Kler&#8221;<\/strong>. It is about child abuse in the Catholic Church. Kaczy\u0144ski claimed that <strong>&#8220;Kler&#8221;<\/strong>, which also features gay characters, is &#8220;an attack on the Church&#8221;. The politician also used the polarising film to make anti-LGBT propaganda. This being part in PiS&#8217;s European election campaign comes hardly as a surprise: Kaczy\u0144ski&#8217;s party always presents itself as an advocate of family and conservative values.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-wrap\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/N9Asxqvr2m8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>LGBT-rights threaten Polish Nation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With his latest statements, however, the campaining against sexual minorities reached a different level. &#8220;We are dealing with a direct attack on families and children &#8211; the sexualisation of children, that entire LBGT movement, gender. This is imported, but all these things actually threaten our identity today, our country, its survival and therefore the Polish nation,&#8221; the politician explained. By claiming that the struggle for LGBT rights is &#8220;imported&#8221;, he denies his own queer fellow countrymen their belonging and human rights. Kaczy\u0144ski thus deprives the Polish LGBT movement further of the base its existence. Even worse, he associates homosexuality with child abuse. His twin brother <strong>Lech Kaczy\u0144ski<\/strong> was president of the country until his death on 10th April 2010. Jaros\u0142aw Kaczy\u0144ski&#8217;s political views are considered ultra-conservative and Catholic.<\/p>\n<p>Poland ranked 83rd in the <a href=\"https:\/\/spartacus.gayguide.travel\/blog\/spartacus-gay-travel-index\/\">Spartacus Gay Travel Index 2019<\/a> next to other countries, including Singapore and Kazakhstan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Polish PiS party&#8217;s chariman Jaros\u0142aw Kaczy\u0144ski uses his criticism of the movie &#8216;Kler&#8217; for broad anti-LGBT propaganda.
