Much of the action for gays on the island takes place around Chaweng. On the very popular, 7km long beach at the east side of the island Ko Samui there is also a beach section where you can find mainly gay sunbathers. The section is around the end of Soi Lamdin (off Chaweng Beach Rd).
\nAt night, in the surroundings of the beach, things really go off: very close to the beach, for example, you find the gay bar “Pride Bar Samui”.<\/p>\n

Lamai is the second largest beach on the island after Chaweng Beach. It is about 10 km away from Chaweng and 4 km long. Here it is a bit cheaper and quieter than on Chaweng Beach, but bars and nightlife are also provided in the area.<\/p>\n
Please note: As nude bathing is against the law as well as against Thai culture, there are no nudist beaches on Koh Samui.<\/p>\n
