Now, porn star Sean Harding threatened the politician with the unofficial nickname &#8220;Lady G&#8221; on Twitter with an outing &#8211; which could mean the end of a political career.<\/p>\n<p>In a tweet with unimagined impact, porn star and escort Sean Harding last week hinted at something incredible: There is said to be a US senator who regularly supports anti-queer laws and who has already called just about every male hustler from Harding&#8217;s circle of acquaintances to his office &#8211; apparently not for talking.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-wrap\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Fellow sex workers I invite you to stand with me during this crucial time. However, in another tweet in which he asked other sex workers for support, he spoke of &#8220;LG&#8221; &#8211; and since there is only one US senator with these initials, Twitter didn&#8217;t have to rack its brains for long.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-wrap\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I cannot do this alone. In 2006, he voted against attempts to open the marriage to same-sex couples and stated that he sees marriage solely as a union between a man and a woman that needs to be protected. According to the Human Rights Campaign, Graham also voted against adoption rights and queer anti-discrimination laws.<\/p>\n<p>Rumors that the unmarried US senator from South Carolina is homosexual have been circulating on the Internet and repeatedly in the media for years. In 2010, Graham explained to the New York Times that those rumours are not true:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know it\u2019s really gonna upset a lot of gay men \u2014 I\u2019m sure hundreds of \u2019em are gonna be jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge \u2014 but I ain\u2019t available. I ain\u2019t gay. Sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Many male sex workers allegedly see it differently: With &#8220;Lady G&#8221; they are even supposed to have an internal nickname for Graham. This became a trend on Twitter last week after Harding&#8217;s Post went viral. In subsequent tweets Harding said that every major news network had written to him, as well as many well-known lawyers who were willing to take on the case. The porn star and sex worker asks others to join him. However, one fact does play a role in many discussions: Graham uses his position to support queerphobic government statements and legislation. Until now?<\/p>\n<p>Graham has many critics who would be pleased if the Republican were to topple. Not only did he make enemies through his conservative and homophobic attitude &#8211; many also accuse him of spinelessness and opportunism.
