I LIKE MY CITY BECAUSE …<\/strong>
\nmy friends live there, Toronto has a very lively gay scene and people here are always friendly and polite.<\/p>\n

BEST TIME TO VISIT<\/strong>
\nFrom June to September. The temperatures are around 30 degrees Centigrade then. Near the city, on Toronto Island, lies Hanlans Point – a beautiful nudist beach with a gay section. You can easily get in touch with people there and the atmosphere is very relaxed.<\/p>\n

RESTAURANT TIP<\/strong>
\nThe “King Noodle” (296 Spadina Avenue), one of the many Asian restaurants in Toronto, is very good. The food is simple, but delicious. My favorite restaurant is more expensive:\u00a0 “North 44\u00b0”. (2537 Yonge Street) offers Continental food. Steak, salmon – everything is just delicious.

BEST BAR<\/strong>
\nThe “Straight” (553 Church Street). Very small (which all bars in Toronto are) but great. Not only does the interior look good, but so do the men. Great music.

BEST CLUB<\/strong>
\nMy favorite club is Guvernment (132 Queens Quay East), one of the ten best clubs in North America. It is very big, has a lighting system like I have never seen anywhere else and is not exclusively gay.

BEST FLIRT<\/strong>
\nOn Church Street. There are many bars, e.g. “Woodys” (465-467 Church Street). But you can\u00a0actually flirt everywhere in Toronto.

NOT TO BE MISSED<\/strong>
\nThe CN Tower, the Rogers Centre, the Beach, Toronto Island, the Royal Ontario Museum and the National Gallery – where there are always interesting exhibitions on show.<\/p>\n

MY INSIDER TIP<\/strong>
