Our goal in 2012 is for the site to be a reliable and engaging source for the LGBT community to learn about holiday, business or group travel &#8211; just as we do for other guests.<\/p>\n<p>The website for gay and lesbian guests, available in five languages, was first developed and launched in 2010. It reports on hotel openings, special events, popular destinations and special offers as well as arrangements for gay weddings.<\/p>\n<p>Marriott International, Inc. is one of the world&#8217;s leading hotel chains. The company was founded in 1927 by J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott, who opened a root beer stand in Washington DC.
