In one of the first Greek bars that is designated to bears there is a relaxed and open atmmosphere on weekends. At Big<\/a> (Falaisias 12) even twinks can start relaxing in the evening.<\/p>\n

Until July 16, 2017, Athens is the second venue of the art spectacle Documenta<\/a>, which is based in Kassel (Germany) and is held there every five years. Those who make it through the little user-friendly website can find exciting exhibitions and performances. Otherwise, you might stumble upon one of the many exhibition venues during a city stroll.<\/p>\n

On June 10th, 2017, Athens Pride<\/a> starts at the central Syntagma Square, right in front of the Greek parliament. The queer community has been celebrating socio-political progress when same-sex couples could also apply for civil union starting two years ago. Athens is undoubtedly one of the most liberal cities in the country and offers a large gay scene.<\/p>\n
