Palm Springs is a desert oasis which offers something for everyone. Palm Springs is only two hours drive from Los Angeles and has long been a popular getaway for Californians as well as gay men from all over the US.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a very large gay population here. You will find every possible type of guy here. There are many gay bars and even more gay resorts ranging from clothing optional resorts where you can enjoy the sun at the poolside or something a little more sedate.<\/span><\/p>\n

The city became a fashionable resort in the 1900s when health tourists arrived with conditions that required dry heat. Because of the heat, however, the population dropped markedly in the summer months.<\/span><\/p>\n

Palm Springs, California lies on the western edge of the Coachella Valley, within the Colorado Desert. Located approximately 110 miles southeast of Los Angeles and 140 miles northeast of San Diego, it’s an easy two hour drive. The geography of Palm Springs is what creates the famed warm, dry climate. At 487 feet above sea level, Palm Springs is sheltered by the Little San Bernardino Mountains to the north, the Santa Rosa Mountains on the south, and the San Jacinto Mountains to the west.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
