Visitors to the Harvey Milk Festival<\/a>\u00a0in May, one of the largest festivals on the west coast of Florida, enjoy a colourful mix of music, live art and theatre. The festival takes place in honour of Harvey Milk, who was one of the first homosexual Americans to be elected into political office. The non-profit, 3-day festival attracts LGBT fans and curious visitors to Sarasota County.<\/p>\n
