Germany really offers gay holidaymakers everything: from the party and electrical capital Berlin to cultural diversity to mountains and the sea. Nudism is also not frowned upon in Germany and is practised on many beaches. Some of them are particularly popular with gay men:

BALTIC SEA

Timmendorfer Strand, Scharbeutz

The well-known nudist section of the beach lies directly near the Baltic Sea thermal spring. Many gay men are sunbathing here – cruising rather takes place in the sauna of the spa.

Travemünde, Priwall

The beach offers a large nudist area, the meadows and woods behind the nudist beach are a perfect setting for a hot day near the sea.

Sierksdorf & Neustadt

Directly between the two towns in Schleswig-Holstein there lies a wild beach where many gay men cavort to make unobserved acquaintances. In the area between beach, forest and railroad tracks, you can enjoy wild cruising.

NORTHERN SEA

Sylt

The dune section in the south of Westerland between the Strandoase restaurant and the Dikjen Deel youth hostel has been a popular gay meeting place for decades. Sylt also offers a small gay scene and several gay bars.

There is more to discover in the capital city than parties – besides crusing areas in many parks, there are also beaches with a lot to discover.
At the lido of “Wannsee”, the northern part of the beach is reserved for nudists – there are many gays among the visitors. In the east of Berlin you will find the “Müggelsee”: the nudist area here is also popular with gay men.

LAKE CONSTANCE

In the very south of Germany, a well-known stretch of beach awaits gay visitors at Lake Constance. On the nudist beach “Süßenmühle” between the villages Überlingen and Sipplingen there are also many heterosexual nudists, but nevertheless gay visitors find quiet corners to enjoy cruising.
