Berlin CSD e.V. and the Friedrichstadt-Palast will present the world’s largest theatre stage completely in rainbow colours and invite you to the glamorous special gala performance of the current show “Yma – too beautiful to be true” on June 17th. The gala is the prelude to the annual Pride Week with Motzstrassenfest and the Gay Night at the Zoo, which culminates a week later in Christopher Street Day (Pride parade).
“Yma” is the most expensive production in the revue palace’s history to date and has attracted over a quarter of a million visitors since its premiere at the end of last year. At the center of the show is the queer creature “Yma”, who moves mainly between half-naked boys and girls. Over 100 artists – soloists, dancers, musicians and artists – are employed in total in this show, the over 500 sexy outfits were designed by designer Michael Michalsky.
Special appearances of prominent guests will make the CSD gala version of the “Yma” show unique. CSD e.V. and Friedrichstadt-Palast invite their guests to a party in the foyer of the theatre after the show.
