New York State and New York City offer pretty much everything gays want – including hot gay beaches. We will show you where to see hot boys during the day and where to go at night.

Two Mile Hollow Beach

Welcome to Long Island! During the day there is a mixed crowd on Two Mile Hollow Beach but there are still many gays to be found. It is the Hamptons, after all. There are some areas where you can also have fun in broad daylight – the busiest time is after sunset though. What happens here on some midsummer nights is on a scale of an orgy – but please  be considerate to the residents.

Indian Wells Beach

Indian Wells is also located in the gay paradise of East Hampton. Not far from Two Mile Hollow beach though not so well known for its gay activity. It is a bit quieter here and people are more cautious. Since the only road leading to the beach can be seen from many parts of the beach, one cannot be caught in the act. Therefore, the mostly closeted cruisers have nothing to fear.

Jacob Riis Park Beach

This beach is located at the southwestern end of the Rockaway Peninsula in the New York borough of Queens. It has been popular for gay cruising since the 1940s. You can get lucky at the isolated eastern end of the beach.

Fire Island

Fire Island is an outer barrier Island parallel to the south shore of Long Island. The band ‘Village People’ have dedicated a song to the island – since the gay disco era was strongly influenced by the island and its gays since the 1930s. Today there are two gay communities on Fire Island: Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove. But basically, the whole of Fire Island is a gay paradise in summer. Clubs, parties, hotels… wild cruising included.

Jones Beach

East of Fire Island, there is Jones Beach on Long Island. New York Law does not allow nude bathing – genitals must always be covered. Topless is no problem and even very tight panties serve their purpose. Since police checks more frequently, one should already adhere to the dress code. Or you will be fined.
Jones Beach is not an official nudist beach either, but you can spot there a lot of naked skin. The gay section is east of Parking area 6, near the sign for Tobay Beach.
