Gay saunas can only be found in Guatemala's capital city. The situation for gay men in Guatemala is not without danger and several reports of hostile attacks have been reported to us. Protection of minority groups is not practised in Guatemala and in comparison to its neighbours it is underdeveloped in this respect.
