Tourism Queensland is looking for “blogger correspondents”. Start for the latest competition is today. Darren Rowse, Australia’s most successful blogger and also very active on Twitter, invites bloggers from all over the world to apply for a trip to his home country. Ten lucky winners can look forward to a five-day trip to Cairns and two exclusive workshops with Rowse. These will take place in the north of Queensland – in the middle of  rainforest and on a tropical island.

Darren Rowse, who reaches 3.5 million readers with his blog “problogger.net” (97 percent of them are international – also German), will not only share his enthusiasm for Queensland and Great Barrier Reef with the winners but also his knowledge about successful blogging. After the workshops, the participants will put their new knowledge into effect and write in their own blogs about their stay in Down Under, supported by videos, photos, podcasts or tweets.

Applying for the trip is easy: Applicants must explain in 150 words, why they are the ideal blogger correspondent . They should also be at least 18 years old and have sufficient English language skills, as the workshops are held in English. Their blogs can be in any other language. Registration deadline is April 17th. The winners will be inforned on April 24th and will be in Queensland from June 5th to 10th.
