Uruguay’s gay scene has got one more attraction since December 2013. The Spanish-Uruguayan couple Mario and Paco have opened their new gay resort just a few hundred metres from gay Chihuahua Beach near Punta del Este. The stylish, modern rooms have showers, TV and free Wifi, in the outdoor area with pool and breakfast terrace clothing is optional. You can also sunbathe on the beach in the nude. Punta del Este and Chihuahua Beach are the trendy meeting place par excellence – especially in the summer from December to February.
