Into Paradise Events UG, the organiser of the gay-and-lesbian festival “Into Paradise”, which is to take place in June in Bispinger Heide, has filed for insolvency. Whether the event will take place is currently unclear. The event was supposed to feature concerts by Kim Wilde and Cascada and also DJs from well-known parties such as “Sexy Cologne” and “WE”.
The organisers explained in a press release that the number of ticket sales had fallen short of expectations. Attempts to find a “joint solution” with venue CenterParcs Bispinger Heide have failed, they added. There can thus be no guarantee at present that the event will take place as planned.
This also makes it unclear whether the tickets will be reimbursed if the event is cancelled. The next decisions will be made by the insolvency administrator in the coming weeks. Tickets can no longer be purchased until further notice.
A ridiculous amount of coffee was consumed in the process of building this project. Add some fuel if you'd like to keep us going!
