The new start up “Pink Alpine” from Bern wants to bring gays and lesbians closer to the most beautiful corners of the Swiss mountains. The groups of a maximum of 12 participants are led by guides who have externsive experience in mountaineering and adult sports. Packages from a minimum of three days are cut to those who seek active holidays amongst like-minded people in the mountains, but without group pressure. Pink Alpine thus offers routes to Monte Rosa hut in Zermatt or to Val di Campo, a still remote valley branching off Valposchiavo. There are also mountain bike or e.bike tours in the Engadine on offer. And those who mainly wish to do something to stimulate their senses can book barefoot hiking in Bernese Oberland.
