Souda is the great natural port of West Crete, just 5 km from the center of Chania. As the ship enters the bay of Souda, on your right the Venetian fort of Forteza welcomes your, built on the isle of Souda in 1583. Exactly across the bayyou’re your left, stands the Idjedin fortress, built by the Ottomans in 1872. As you leave the fortifications that stood watch over the port’s entrance for centuries behind you, the amphitheatrical town of Souda emerges nested on the mountainside.
After you disembark from the ship, you follow the main road to Chania for 3 km and you reach SEAMETRY APARTMENTS. Our lodge is located in a beautiful, quiet overlook with a panoramic view to the Cretan Archipelago, where you can enjoy the majestic sunrise every morning.
