In Latvia, women are entitled to 56 days “maternity leave” before the birth and 56 days “birth leave” after the birth, making a total of 112 days of paid maternity leave. Fathers are entitled to ten days’ paid parental leave after the birth of a child. Is this also available to homosexual couples?
